Jim Ballard is an award-winning actor who has performed all over the United States and around the world. He can be seen onstage doing both plays or musicals as well as on TV and in the movies. He received his MFA in Theatre Performance from UNLV and his undergraduate degree in theatre from Greensboro College.

 

Some of his theatre credits include:
Captain VonTrapp in the National and International Asian Tour of The Sound of Music, Sam and Bill in numerous theatre productions of Mamma Mia, Father Flynn in Doubt, Chris Keller in All My Sons, Sam Phillips in Million Dollar Quarter, Father in Ragtime, El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Orin and et.al in Little Shop of Horrors, and George in Tryst.

ABOUT JIM

He has won two Carbonell Awards for Best Supporting Actor for Shrudlu in The Adding Machine and Officer Lockstock in Urinetown and has been nominated for many more.
 
On TV, he can be seen in such shows as: The Good Fight, Burn Notice, Army Wives, Law & Order and for two seasons on Nickelodeon’s I Am Frankie as Clarence Kingston.  He can also be seen as Dr. Dineen in the upcoming Bad Monkey with Vince Vaughn on Apple TV.

Jim has been a member of Actors Equity for 18 years and is a proud United States Marine.  Semper Fi.
